Good Friday morning,

Hope everyone is well. It appears your weather has been warmer than mine here in Hawaii.

Where upper 70s and 80s have been the Norm for you. This will begin to change over the weekend.

Today you will see one more day of above normal temps with highs again in the upper 70s and low 80s.

Tonight a warm night with lows around 60.

Also the first day of a heat wave in February..... 

Yes, another disappointment over the weekend with the lack of rain.

The only excitement was in the Montecito hills where a thunder storm caused hail for a short time.

The rain Saturday was another dud. Enough to get the streets wet and see the rain in the hills. Other than that...another reminder that 2020 has turned dry. 

Big winner is old man mountain with .26 inches.

As you wake up and roll outside you will find it dry……Yes the rain decided to wait until we woke  up…

Well there it is....Our cut-off low spinning over the ocean around 500 West of point conception.

Today we will see weak off shore winds that will keep us mostly sunny. 

The low to the west will remain parked and spinning into late afternoon, then move East towards us.

Another day with lots of 2s and 0s .... and guess what !!!!

Not a lot of changes to report.... off shore winds or Santa Ana winds are going to affect mountains and valleys.

Coastal areas should see little to no wind. Valleys 25 to 35 miles an hour and mountains 35 to 45.

What a great Sunday. I hope you took my advise and went to Hendry’s beach for the walk. I know a few of my friends did. I saw Adam, Jimmy and Rick on our beach walk.

It is hard to complain about the lack of rain after a day like Saturday. 

What a fantastic mid February day it was. I hope everyone got outside to enjoy it. 

It was just another picture perfect day to share with all. Even Pearl was very happy to be outside and chasing the ball.
