What a great Sunday. I hope you took my advise and went to Hendry’s beach for the walk. I know a few of my friends did. I saw Adam, Jimmy and Rick on our beach walk.

Wrapping up the great day, I heard this song.

You need to play this and watch this.

For those of you that were alive in 1973, what a classic song.

For you Newbies, just look at the people. Quite a difference from 2020. It was a different time, but this time is equally as good…

Let me see, I was 14 years old…. Never had a thought of Southern California. To tell you the truth, I really did not know where Southern California was.

Come all these years later, I love this song and it is so fitting for this perfect sunny weather pattern and on Sunday the 16th of February of 2020….

Here it is Monday morning, some of us are going back to work. Others have a holiday and for those of you that do not need to think about work any more, it is just another day in paradise.

This week’ s weather is going to Echo “it never rains in Southern California” at least till Friday …..

Today we are looking for a weak system to roll through and bring up some winds.

Tonight we might see a mild sundowner wind event.

Tuesday off shore winds and a mild Santa Ana wind event starts. Gusts to 45 miles an hour.

Wednesday more of the same.

Thursday another system drops south, still a nice day. All week we will see highs in the upper 60s and some low 70s.

Friday and Saturday. This is the big question mark. A cut off low is going to form somewhere this way. Depending on where, this could give us a chance of rain.

A system like this is hard to call until it gets closer. We will see what the forecast calls for later in the week.

In the meantime, the Classic song "It never rains in southern California" is the thought of the day.

Also if you have the day off, Hendry’s Beach has miles of flat sand to walk at low tide. Low tide is 12:15 pm, a perfect lunch time event.

Have a great week.
