Good Monday morning,

I hope everyone survived the heat from the weekend. It was hot out there with Paso Robles hitting a record at 114 yesterday. Today is not going to be any better at 115.

As you can see with the link below, it is going to be hot all week.

Some lighter news is my weather station is all set up at my house, so I can share real time weather from my back yard Daily.

Good Thursday morning,

Subtropical weather is arriving as Elida is bringing us high and mid level clouds. You can see them streaming over us:

Today there is a 20% chance for showers, then this afternoon a better chance of thunder storms in the mountains.

Good Monday morning,

I hope everyone had a great weekend. Now it is back to a crazy work week with real estate going Bananas in Santa Barbara - Montecito.

As we start out our work week, we will find Monday and Tuesday to be a repeat of the past week.

Good Thursday morning,

We are on the back side of our work week. The weekend will be here soon.

Our weather has been very uneventful, I guess that is much better than what the East coast has experienced this week.

Talking with Family and friends, it was not a good week for the Shore. Winds were pretty crazy with damage and trees down.

Good Tuesday morning,

Today we will start a cooling trend. This will be felt especially inland.

Last night sundowner winds blew, but stayed more towards Gaviota where temps were 80 degrees after sunset.

Goleta and SB had a slight bump, but nothing much.

Good Monday morning,

I hope everyone had a nice weekend. It was hot out there if you were in the valleys.

I went up to Santa Ynez yesterday and the heat was on. 96 degrees when I left to come home to 75 here.

The Pacific Ocean is our friend in Santa Barbara.

Today is going to be hot in SB with Northwest winds we will hit 91 degrees today. Everyone else should see temps the same as yesterday, with a degree or 2 less.

Good morning,

If you looked outside you would never think we were getting ready for a heat wave.

This morning it is very damp along the coast with some drizzle and wet patios.

The marine layer however is very low and clearing will come quickly.

High pressure and off shore flow will move in. High pressure over Arizona will move closer to us. As we know, this time of year is extremely hot in Arizona, so that will be our forecast the next few days.

Good Wednesday morning,

We have 1 more day of seasonable and cooler weather, then the heatwave begins.

Today we will start out with typical low clouds, then the sun will warm us up.

Today we will see upper 70s coastal and upper 80s in the valleys.

Good Tuesday morning,

As we are all aware, the weather has been pretty boring this time of year, so I have to lead with this video.

Thought you would get a kick out of this. A bear in Montecito?  He came up to say hi to our gatehouse at the Club. Huge Black bear! At Birnamwood.
