Good Monday morning,

I hope everyone had a nice weekend. It was hot out there if you were in the valleys.

I went up to Santa Ynez yesterday and the heat was on. 96 degrees when I left to come home to 75 here.

The Pacific Ocean is our friend in Santa Barbara.

Today is going to be hot in SB with Northwest winds we will hit 91 degrees today. Everyone else should see temps the same as yesterday, with a degree or 2 less.

This morning we wake to no marine layer. Except in areas to the South toward LA, where a weak Eddie has pulled the marine layer in.

Today we will continue with the heat. One more hot day before we get relief.

Highs in the 90s everywhere today.

Tuesday we get a nice break in the weather as marine layer starts to return in areas.

Low pressure moves in and this will cool us off 10 degrees.

The rest of the week looks to be uneventful with just cooler weather. Highs back to the 70s coastal and 80s in the valleys.

As the weekend approaches, we will see a slow warm up, but nothing like what we saw this past weekend.

Enjoy the first work week in August, as we check another month into the history books.

As always, make someone smile 😀

Have a great day!
