Jack's Weather Report

What a night it was watching the fire grow. From My vantage point I could see it all with my eyes. Winds last night reached 82 miles an hour in the Montecito foothills. The fire started up high, then boom it was down to San Antonio creek area. I watched all the fire trucks rolling up the pass. The good news is it seems to be 1/10 of what it was when I went to bed. Here is now and last night's photos from my stage, or back yard.

Today starts out nice, but as a front passes the winds will start to blow. First in the mountains, starting around noon. Gust can be 60 miles an hour from the north.
It will be quite windy on the Grapevine. Wind will drop over all of us later in the afternoon and evening. Expect 30 mile an hour winds.

Wow, you are hearing it first here. We are going to get quite the storm system starting Tuesday night.
We will have it all with this one, snow, rain, hail, thunder and lighting, wind and cold air.
Leave early for Holiday travel, I suggest leaving Tuesday if you are going to travel.
Thanksgiving traffic in the air and on the roads is normally really bad, but this year with the rain and snow it will be much worse.
We will start with the good and end with the bad.

Good Friday Morning,
A great weekend of weather ahead, will be a present that we might not see for awhile.
A ridge will be over us through Monday, which will give us warm weather though Monday.

Tuesday, a cold low pressure system dips south out of the Barring Sea and Alaska.

Good Thursday morning,
It was a chilly Wednesday with some wind and very little rain in our area.
LA and areas to the south did see plenty of rain.
Jim was the first one to mention to me there was no rain.
Jim is now going to be our official weather spotter on the ground.
Nights that we are predicting rain, he will sleep outside to give us first had results in real time.
Jim thanks for your dedication. Is it cold at your Hope Ranch home this morning 👍😂

Good Wednesday morning,
Windy and cooler this morning as a weak weather system is rolling down the coast.
Not much rain out there, but you can see some shower activity over the coastal waters:

Ones and nines day.
Good Tuesday morning, Monday was another incredibly hot November day.
High of 86 in Santa Barbara. Wow!
Today we will switch it up. Also, interesting weather pattern to our north and south.
If you look south, low pressure is spinning off shore. This is increasing the surf on south facing beaches for you surf lovers.

Good Monday morning,
OMG what a Sunday. It was a Summer Delight. I sat outside well into the evening watching football ball and Jack Ryan.
What a great series on Amazon. You have to check it out. I watch 2 episodes then had to go to bed at 9pm.
We broke a record in SB yesterday with a new high for the day of 85 degrees.
One more day of great weather. It will not be 85 in Santa Barbara, but we will still see mid to upper 70s.
To the south and in the valleys, one more really hot day. Highs in the 80s and some 90s.
