Good Sunday morning,

I will make this a quicker one.

Today we have high pressure keeping all clouds out of the area. They are north and south of us.

Today some Santa Ana winds to the south, but mild. Temps will be 4 to 5 degrees above normal in the mid 70s.

Tonight after the sun goes down, it cools off a lot. Lows in the upper 30s in the valleys and upper 40s coastal and foothills.

Monday a nice day, but winds come up in the afternoon with a sundowner event in the SB area.

Tuesday starts out great, with a light off shore event, but 4 to 5 degrees cooler.

Tuesday night the cold low drops closer to us. Rain will start up over night.

Wednesday rain and snow levels dropping to 2500 to 3500 feet.

Wednesday night steady rain turns to showers, and cold air sets in. Temps in the santa Ynez valley will drop to below freezing and you could even see snow!!!!

Thursday showers and cold.

Friday more showers possible.

Saturday slight chance of showers.

All in all over the period, 1 to 2 inches coastal, 2 to 3 in the mountains.

Stay tuned for Monday when short term models take over and fine tune the forecast.

Enjoy a great Sunday.
