Good Thursday morning,

It was a chilly Wednesday with some wind and very little rain in our area.

LA and areas to the south did see plenty of rain.

Jim was the first one to mention to me there was no rain.

Jim is now going to be our official weather spotter on the ground.

Nights that we are predicting rain, he will sleep outside to give us first had results in real time.

Jim thanks for your dedication. Is it cold at your Hope Ranch home this morning πŸ‘πŸ˜‚

Yes, this was a fire drill not the real thing in SB. “ good for me, too busy for rain yet. “

Today the low pressure system that did not bring us rain, is over Nevada where it is raining.

This will continue to move east and just give us a chilly day and night.

Highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s coastal and 30s inland.

Thanksgiving is a week away and winter chill is upon us, until Friday.

Then, off shore winds will warm us up into the 70s through Monday.

Next week, computer models are thinking we will have a wet and cold thanksgiving.

A cold low will drop out of Alaska bringing rain and snow levels to 2500 to 3000 feet.

Freeze warning will be likely for valley areas.

Looks like the rain chances will start as soon as Wednesday, we will be updating throughout the weekend.

Of course we will be watching this with Jim’s feet on the ground, eating turkey outdoors πŸ‘¨‍πŸŒΎπŸ¦ƒ

Stay tuned, we have still a nice weekend on tap.
