Good Thursday morning,

Waking to fog once again..... it is actually a great thing as far as I am concerned. I love holding the sun back until after lunch time.

Today we will begin a warming trend in the valleys as high pressure begins to move in from the south. This will only increase temps a few degrees today.

Good Wednesday morning,

We are waking to a new month of July and the return of the fog monster.

Forecast wise, there are not many changes, so we will keep it short.

Good Tuesday morning,

We are treated to another day of clear skies this morning. 2 days in a row.

That’s a nice treat over the clouds we have seen for the last 2 weeks.

It was also nice to sit outside last night, since we had a warmer day for a change.

Good Monday morning,

Here we go again, with a new work week. I hope everyone is healthy and happy.

Today in SB is starting with clear skies.

That is not the case in other locations, but a weak system blew through last night and has pushed some of the low clouds away.

Good Friday morning,

Here we go, another Friday and the last Friday in June. Here comes July.....

Next Friday will start another Funky holiday with little to no celebrations.

I will go and see what is happening in Cabo San Lucas.

Back to today and the weekend.

There’s just not much to talk about, more of the same but a little change inland Sunday and Monday as we cool off due to a low pressure system moving in from Oregon.

Good Thursday morning,

June is typically a month that we see our days start with fog for the first half of the day.

With the sun coming out after lunch.

This will be the same trend through the next 7 days with just some minor tweaks, but nothing notable.

Good Tuesday morning,

This link pretty much spells out our weather for the week, and the foreseeable future.

June Gloom will be upon us all week. In my eyes, this is fantastic.... with a high of 74 Each day....

Good Monday morning,

I hope everyone had a great Father’s Day. I know I did.

The fog monster hung around Sunday until mid afternoon then warmed us up in the afternoon.

The good news is the fog level has lowered and clearing should occur between 11 and noon today.

High pressure in the Baja is moving northward which will continue to shallow the coastal marine layer.

Good Friday Morning,

Yesterday the north push of the Eddy was weaker first thing in the morning, but as the morning went on it gave us a complete day of cloudy.

Today June gloom is the word of the day. Fog is all the way into the valleys today. Waking up in Santa Ynez you have dense fog.

https://www.star.nesdis.noaa.gov/GOES/sector_band.php?sat=G17§or=wus&band=GEOCOLOR&length=12

Weak low pressure is drifting over us today and exiting Saturday. This will lead to a cool few days with below normal temps.

Good Thursday morning,

The Coastal Eddy is still spinning over Catalina. You can see it on the satellite.

https://www.star.nesdis.noaa.gov/GOES/sector_band.php?sat=G17§or=wus&band=GEOCOLOR&length=12

This will affect the coast and some valleys again today, but the north push does not seem as strong today.
