Good Thursday morning,

Our weather pattern feels winter like, but it will only bring us spring like winds.

Spring weather generally brings us more wind events than rain. That is really our forecast for the next week.

Today there is a weak low pressure system to the north, beginning to affect the Bay Area.

This will work it’s way down the coast and bring a little rain to SLO and maybe Santa Ynez.

This does not have a lot of moisture with it, and will bring 1/4 inch or less to SLO and north county.

SB to LA have a very slight chance of some mountain showers Friday morning, but really it will be about the wind Friday afternoon. Northwest wind will come up and blow.

Saturday, another weak system works it’s way south. This one is even weaker than the last, except for wind.

Expect 1/10th of an inch in SLO Saturday night, then wind Sunday in all areas facing north and northwest.

Monday through Wednesday really does not change much, a weak system Monday night in SLO and continued northwest flow with wind over us.

Through Wednesday, dry conditions for the most part, with the wind factor.

Temps will remain chilly with snow levels to 4000 feet Sunday with maybe light accumulations. 1 to 2 inches.

Pretty uneventful weather over the next week. 7 days from now will be the 18th with no rain since the beginning of the month.

Looks like February is not looking good, and is typically our wettest month.

Have a great day!

Jack Martin
