Good Wednesday morning,

Our weather for the next week is more like the Pacific Northwest than Southern California.

What do I mean by that? Well days are cooler with below normal temps. Rain chances are in the forecast Thursday and Saturday nights, but rain totals and the type of intensity is very Seattle like.

Trust me I lived there .... and why I moved South.

Today we have a weak high pressure system that will bring us some northwest winds and for the most part sunshine.

Where fog exists this morning, it will clear to mostly sunny by late this morning.

Thursday will start off sunny with high to mid level clouds streaming in by the afternoon.

Thursday night, the first weak rain event rolls through. This is weak and more of a northern event.

Any rain that falls will be 1/10 to 1/4 of an inch. Some locations will see no rain. Mainly to the south.

Friday looks to give some clouds over the mountains, with a slight chance of rain.

Saturday will be fair, but Saturday night brings the next chance of rain. This one will be colder with snow levels dropping to 4000 feet.

Like Thursday's system this will bring little rainfall 1/4 to 1/10. Seattle like!!

Rain chances remain over the mountains Sunday, but a chilly day. Followed by wind from the northwest, this one will blow pretty strong.

Monday and Tuesday does not bring muck excitement. Just cooler days and nights as winter type weather prevails. No real real threat of rain at this point.

Bottom line it will be chilly and some moisture here and there. Nothing to help our water tables, only some dampness.

As mentioned before, our best shot of rain is the March Miracle as we had in 1995, which saved us from the drought that year.

Keep your fingers crossed and dress warm.
