Good super Monday,

I am sure none of us will be one of those 18 million people calling in sick today 😀.

If you are just waking up, walking outside is going to be a chilly experience.

Good Super Bowl Sunday,

Lots of 2s in the date today .... also what a super Saturday it was... 83 degrees at my house. It was quite a treat for February 1st. Our weather was better than Miami.

Today as you wake up and look outside you can see and feel the difference if you live along the beach. The fog and onshore flow has moved in.

Good Saturday morning,

It is going to be a Saturday to remember on Feb 1st 2020. High pressure is going to give us warm temps and some record highs today.

Highs everywhere should be 80s or close to it. With record highs , just a few days later we will have record lows.

A gulf of alaska storm will bring freezing temps Tuesday morning.

I guess I jumped a few days, so let’s back up and talk about the forecast day to day.

Saturday, the warmest day year to date. Most locations will see 80s.

Tonight, still warm with 40 to 50s in areas.

Good Friday morning and the last day of January 2020.

Today is going to be a great way to end the month with off shore and highs in the upper 70s with some low 80s.

Saturday the first day of February will be a perfect day to start a new month with highs increasing a few more degrees. Likely most areas will hit 80 degrees.

Good Thursday morning,

I hope everyone has been enjoying the dry January weather. It has been rather disappointing from a rain standpoint.

Regardless of which side of the isle you sit on with rain, it is not going to change in the next 5 days.

The weak system yesterday did not produce rain, but Sunday’s weather brought in fog and low clouds to areas and created very shallow visibility in some areas.

Sadly, Calabasas was one of those locations. It did take the life of an Icon. It is a sad morning for Basketball fans and Los Angles with the loss of Kobe Bryant, his daughter and 7 others.

Good Sunday morning,

Here we are nearing the end of January 2020. This first month of the new year has been extremely dry.

Unfortunately, we once had a chance of rain for today, but if you want to see the rain, you will need to go to northern California.

Today there is a weak system just off the central coast this morning.

Wow, there goes the first month of the year. Sadly it was extremely dry with just rain on a few occasions.

It does look like we will end the month with mostly dry weather and no more rain.

Today a ridge will keep us warm, with some upper 60s and low 70s. Some mid level clouds will sweep across.

Good Thursday morning,

We are on the back side of the work week now. It does look like nice weather will prevail into the weekend and warmer temps.

This will hopefully help everyone with colds and the Flu.” It is a nasty one”. Stay away from folks with it. Trust me you don’t want this one.

Good Tuesday morning,

It looks like the sprinkles predicted on Monday did amount to a few 100s of an inch of wet stuff, enough to dampen the streets.

Today another impulse will go through tonight. This will affect Northern areas like SLO and above. For us no rain is predicted.

Wednesday and Thursday, we clear out with an on shore flow. Dry and no precipitation.

Friday through Saturday the offshore
