Good Friday morning,

Yesterday felt more like a January day then a July day. The high for the day stayed in the 60s along the coast with fog lingering most of the day.

Today we are starting out with fog again, but clearing should come earlier today.

Most areas will see the sun by late morning. Temps will rise into the low 70s, but still remain below normal, so the streak of unseasonable cool weather continues.

The weekend will bring a slight warm up, but temps will still remain below normal.

Sunday looks to be the best beach day with earlier clearing and warmer temps.

Next week, we are looking for a warm up as high pressure builds in. Finally we will move back to temps at season norms and above.

Take a look at the satellite. In the left corner you will see hurricane Douglas moving towards the Hawaiian Islands. This will begin to affect the islands at the end of the weekend. Hawai’i might be trying to keep COVID out with testing, but can’t control the Douglas.

Have a nice weekend!

And Stay healthy!
