Good Thursday morning,
June is typically a month that we see our days start with fog for the first half of the day.
With the sun coming out after lunch.
This will be the same trend through the next 7 days with just some minor tweaks, but nothing notable.

Good Monday morning,
I hope everyone had a great Father’s Day. I know I did.
The fog monster hung around Sunday until mid afternoon then warmed us up in the afternoon.
The good news is the fog level has lowered and clearing should occur between 11 and noon today.

Good Friday Morning,
Yesterday the north push of the Eddy was weaker first thing in the morning, but as the morning went on it gave us a complete day of cloudy.
Today June gloom is the word of the day. Fog is all the way into the valleys today. Waking up in Santa Ynez you have dense fog.

Weak low pressure is drifting over us today and exiting Saturday. This will lead to a cool few days with below normal temps.

This will affect the coast and some valleys again today, but the north push does not seem as strong today.

Good Wednesday morning,
Another day starting with some low clouds and fog. This is thanks to the coastal Eddie over LA.
This is allowing low clouds to drift up the coast and affect Santa Barbara. Fog is 3500 feet this morning.

Good Tuesday morning,
What a great sunset last night. This was caused by the Drum canyon fire in SLO. Where this was very pretty, it was not up in the Pismo area.
Sounds like they have opened the freeways and winds are calm this morning.
Today we are starting out on the edge of the fog and low clouds. There is an Eddie that has sprung in Catalina, sending clouds and fog into some of the southern valleys and coastal areas.
We are seeing some fog to start the day.

Good Friday morning,
Today we have a low pressure system approaching, bringing us a welcomed cooler day.
Especially in the valleys where temps will be 10 degrees cooler than Thursday highs.
In the Santa Ynez valleys will be a cool upper 70s today.

Good Thursday morning,
It was another extremely hot day on Wednesday. The only good news was sitting on my deck last night and the sea breeze was starting.
This morning, I could smell the ocean. This confirmed the onshore flow has started. What that means is each day will cool.

Good Wednesday morning,
Holy Cow it was a hot day on Tuesday. Highs in SB was 93 degrees.
Even last night a mild sundowner kept it around 80 till I went to bed at 10pm.
Today we will have one more day of the heat, but it will be slightly cooler.
Highs will be upper 80s coastal and 90s in the valleys.

This afternoon we should begin a sea breeze, which will allow us a little cooling tonight.
