Good Monday morning,

The wind blew pretty hard last night. This morning when I went outside, it was quite a mess.

Winds today will die down in SB and transfer south to Ventura and wind prone Santa Ana locations.

Wind will begin to fall off on Tuesday, except for Santa Clara.

Good chilly Saturday morning,

The good news is it will warm up as the day goes on. Highs today will be in the upper 60s, unless you are lucky enough to be in Jamaica, it will be 89 degrees.

Good Friday morning,

Days are all out of wack Thanks to the holiday.

You can see high pressure over us, pushing the clouds to the north over Oregon.

Today we will see wind to our south and warm temps for all with highs in the low 70s coastal and upper 70s in the valleys. Maybe even a few 80s.

Good Thursday morning,

Hope everyone had a good mid week New Years. A 1 day stop to work, now it is time to pick it up again.

The good news is this year is a leap year, so Christmas and New Years will land on a Friday in 2020.

Today the winds that picked up last night will lessen by the afternoon, then shift to the northeast over Ventura and south.

Welcome to 2020. Wow a new decade.....thanks for the great photo Adam.

This is a good way to remember the last decade.

To start out our 2020 we will have relatively great weather other than some wind in areas.

Temps for the next week will be normal to above normal. We will even see some 70s at the end of the week.

New Year’s Eve day,

The last day of this decade. We will be moving into 2020’s for the next 10 years.

Wow, I remember the 2000s like it was just a few years back. Time flies....

If you were up with me this morning, I watched 2020 arrive in Sydney, Australia.

Quite the fireworks there. Google them, pretty cool.

Good Monday morning,

Low pressure has moved south and now is creating some rain and lighter showers.

The low pressure system has drifted further to the west than predicted. This is very visible on the satellite view:

Because the low is further off shore, Ventura will just see a trace of rain and LA no rain.

Good Sunday morning,

Right when we thought the rain was figured out on Saturday, we will throw a monkey wrench into the forecast. Yesterday we talked about all the rain in LA and Ventura.

Now it is not that likely. Rain is still going to happen, but the track has changed.

It now looks like low pressure will dig south today, but continue south and miss most of LA.

So what is the latest forecast?

Good Saturday morning,

Around the holidays I really need to think, what day is this?

Today and Sunday we will enjoy sunshine and cooler weather. Highs will be in the low 60s and lows around freezing in valleys, with low 40s coastal.

The best news is the Grape vine is back open, freeways and surface streets will see lighter traffic, for 2 days at least.........

Good Friday morning,

The low has moved East and will start it's way across the country, giving them lots of snow.

For us, it is starting out mighty cold this morning with some valleys in the 20s and coastal areas in the low 40s.

A ridge is building in for the next 3 days, bringing us dry, but cold weather with highs only around 60 degrees:
