Good Friday morning,

The weekend is upon us once again. Today we are waking to something we have not seen in quite awhile...Fog...

A weak system is pushing down the coast and is creating the onshore flow. This will allow only a cooler day.

Tonight the front washes through, and SB and northwest exposed areas will see some wind.

Good Thursday morning,

Going outside this morning you can smell the change. The onshore flow has brought back the smell of the Pacific Ocean. This will make for a cooler day.

Tonight a weak low passes through. This will draw the marine layer and create a foggy day Friday. Temps should be in the 60s and foggy.

Good Tuesday morning,

Today, it is all about the warm temp and the winds. Yesterday the winds come up in the afternoon for all and the mercury climbed to 80 degrees late in the afternoon.

Overnight, the wind affected most areas with peak gusts from 35 to 70 miles an hour. This made for a warm night. Most areas stayed in the 60s and 70s. Here is wind speeds in the mountains:

Today it will be windy, but more of a typical Santa Ana event. Ventura south will be quite windy through this afternoon, then the winds will back off.

Good Monday morning,

The holiday spirt was really noticeable from my house last night.

Naturally with the sunset and after dark with all the lights on homes.

The weather this week will be dry, but windy at times.

Winds will arrive today in Ventura south then move into Santa Barbara and Montecito tonight.

Good Thursday morning,

Today and the next few days are going to be windy in Ventura and points to the south.

Looks like wind gusts of 35 to 45 miles an hour. This will bring another round of extremely high fire danger.

Welcome to December,

Hopefully just in time for Christmas we will see the vaccine. Our weather has certainly been Cooperating here, with warmer days.

There is a cold low pressure system plunging into Colorado bringing a big freeze.

For us it will only fuel another Santa Ana wind event. Ventura and areas south will begin to feel the winds tonight.

Good Friday morning,

5:01 am, we are allowed to leave our houses now. I know the curfew would only affect me at the early 5am hour, because I am sound asleep well before the start at 10pm 😊

Our weather between 5am to 10pm is going to be really nice through the weekend. High pressure is building in and a mild off shore event will keep us warm.

Good Thursday morning,

Thanksgiving is one week away.....that came quick.... it will be nuts for online shopping this year.

How about that big storm yesterday. Santa Barbara had a .004 as the system fell apart.

North county had .15, still not anything to speak of.
