Perfect Weather for the Weekend
Perfect Weekend Ahead
This is why we love southern coastal California. Never too hot and never too cold.
Here we are in the middle of August and everyone else is hot or wet.
We just have to put up with damp mornings and mid to upper 70s.
This trend goes through the weekend and into next week, with a warm up early next week.
3/10/19 Sunday
Good Sunday morning,
Did you turn your clock ahead? If you did not, it is an hour later than you think.
I actually slept in until 5:30 today... daylight saving time....
Today will be another cool and cloudy day. Looks like dry through the morning, then a chance of rain or snow this afternoon.
This system is dry and cold. The best chance of rain is in the mountains.
This afternoon you will see the pretty puffy clouds over the mountains.
If they fill up enough, you will see rain along the coast and snow above 3500 feet.
It will not amount to much, and showers will be spotty. Some areas can see 1/4 of an inch and others none.

March the 1st Has Arrived
Sunday Chill 2/17/19
Now the weather, cold and windy out there today. The jet stream is pushing well to the north and then turning the cold air back at us.
Take a look:

This means north-cold winds. The low pressure will create showers to the North, but this is moisture starved.
Any rain will be squeezed out of the cold air. The best chance of rain will be to the north of us. North winds tend to block showers in Santa Barbara.
Santa Ynez and north faces are likely to see rain and snow. Everyone will be cold …..
Snow levels are at 3500 feet today, then dropping to 1500 to 2500 tonight.
