Good morning,

April seems to be starting out like the last 2 months. The first part of it is going to be wet.

Lets hope it will continue longer into the month. Look at this graphic

Today will be the last nice day of the week. Temps will be well above normal, Sunny and warm. Expect 80's in most locations today.Enjoy it while it is here, because it all changes tonight.

Tonight, offshore winds turn to onshore. Thursday morning will start out damp. The first system is coming up out of the Baja. You can see it on the satellite.

It packs a big blob of clouds.

This will move in on Thursday during the day. Expect some rain, showery in nature Thursday afternoon and night.

Friday the main part of the system will be over head. This again will bring additional rainfall. Do not expect rain all day long. This entire period will bring us rain on and off, expect 1/4 to 1/2 over Thursday and Friday.

Saturday, all eyes shift to the north. There is a weather system that will give us weekend rains. This is a much colder system with rain somewhat heavier. We will see rain Saturday and Sunday which could give us another 1/2 inch of rain.

It will start drying out Monday and the first half of Tuesday. Then, there is one more system coming in for late Tuesday into Wednesday.

So that's the good news. It has been a awhile since rain has been in the forecast. As much as it will not change the drought situation, we will take whatever the rain Gods will give us.

Enjoy the sunny nice day. It will be the last one of the week.
