Wind Wednesday

By Jack Martin on Oct 28, 2015 at 08:15 AM

Well good hot morning,

Oh man, I woke this morning to 80 something degrees and winds at 15 miles an hour in my yard.

The big event today and Thursday is going to be the wind. There are going to be sundowner winds, Santa Anna's and frontal passages that will create lots of wind the next 2 days.

If you live on the beach, well then you have some high tides and wave issues to deal with also.

First today there are some rain chances just to the north in SLO. If you look at the satellite you will see the first part of the front passing over us right now.

This will create wind today and tonight, and lots of it! It will be a crazy sundowner tonight. Winds will blow 45 plus miles an hour.

Tonight the back half of the front passes. This will create another round of wind Thursday and Thursday night.

That is the story for today. Keep the wind in mind...                                                     Wind emoji
