Welcome to March and a new month. With the start of a new month, you can feel the change with cooler temps and higher humidity in the air.
You can see the low-pressure system spinning to the north, but not really causing any rain at this point. https://zoom.earth/
It does look like we will get some rain Sunday into Sunday night, but more showery in nature, with less than ½ inch in total. The snow level will drop to between 3 to 4 thousand feet.
Sunday some showers, but nothing crazy, just chilly temps with highs to 60 degrees.
Monday and Tuesday look dryer with fair early spring weather before more rain arrives Tuesday night into Thursday day.
This system is still developing, but it will be the strongest of the 3. At this point we are looking at ½ to 1 inch of rain.
Beyond we will dry out and next weekend looks to warm back up into the 70s and some low 80s in the valleys.
Looking well into the extended forecast we are looking for the next system around the 12th of March, it is way to far out to make a call on this.
In the meantime, the days are getting longer. March generally brings us an average of 2.5 inches, then rain really drops off April and beyond.
Time will tell, turn off the sprinklers for the next week, and hopefully longer
Have a great weekend.
