10/13/24
Good Sunday morning,
How about those Ducks last night in Oregon beating THE OHIO STATE 😊 Ducks are #2 in the college football polls.
I had to get that in, but today is really about the upcoming weeks weather.
The week really starts out with high pressure thought Tuesday with temps in the valleys 10 degrees above normal with highs 78 to 88 degrees.
Along the Coast, typical morning clouds then highs in the mid-70s to 80 degrees in the foothills. Pretty much perfect weather for mid-October.
Tonight in Santa Barbara some sundowner winds will blow the fog out to sea, and we will start with sunny skies Monday morning
Wednesday a low-pressure system in Vancouver starts to work its way south. This will bring on some north winds to start. then it looks like an Eddy will form Wednesday into Thursday and with low clouds and possible drizzle. mornings could start out damp with drizzle in the foothills and valleys.
Looking further into the week, the low pass to the south then moves east, so winds return from the North then change to the northeast on Friday.
Not a lot of excitement in the forecast with the exception of the full moon arriving this week from the 17th to the 20th, this will be the biggest and fullest moon of the year lasting for around 3 days called the Hunters moon https://www.timeanddate.com/astronomy/moon/hunters.html
Then on the 21st we will see Meteor shower next Sunday with the Orion with 15 meteors per hour. That's your week of weather excitement
Have a great week,
Jack Martin
