Are you ready for the heatwave. Take a look at this map of red zones. This will show you the locations
https://www.weather.gov/lox/
The heat begins to ramp up today and will last into next week. The only partial relief will be directly along the coast, but sundowner winds are in the forecast for the next 3 nights in Santa Barbara. This as always will increase the fire danger and winds will increase to 45 to 55 miles an hour in the evenings the next 2 to 3 nights blowing from the north.
Regarding temps. 80s along the coast, 90s to 100 in local valleys. 100 to 110 in Paso.
And in the deserts 🌵, just leave, you will not want to be there….
It also looks like monsoonal moisture will come into play late in the weekend. The chances for monsoonal moisture is low the next few days, but as we get hotter and into the weekend the chances for thundershowers increase in LA and Ventura for the weekend. By early next week even Santa Barbara county maybe affected.
As always stay tuned as we get into the weekend.
It does look like we are getting into the hot period, before we hit August. Typically August and September are our warmest and most active months for hot and monsoonal moisture.
Remember the shade, water, sunscreen and hats. It is that time of year, thank god we have the Pacific Ocean to cool the direct coast off. All those inland folks will be coming to the beaches for relief for at least the next week.
Welcome to summer heat… it has arrived.

Thanks for the nice job you did on my house. My tenant appreciated how considerate and efficient your team was and commented on the excellent job they did. My husband and I went up to inspect the job yesterday, and we were very pleased.Ann Schied
