Good Thursday morning,

Winter will return for at least a few days. Today will start out cool then turn to cold, a cold low-pressure system takes over our atmosphere.

The low is currently to the north and will arrive today https://zoom.earth/  Where this is extremely cold, it is also Moisture starved, so rain totals will be lower.

It looks like a cool day with rain possible later in the day and over night. rain total will be on the lighter side with 1/10 of an inch today and ¼ inch possible tonight.

Snow levels will drop quickly tonight to around 3000 feet.

Friday looks to be cold and showery. Thunderstorms are also possible. This is a very cold storm, and clouds will not carry a lot of moisture.

Expect ¼ to ½ inch of wet stuff through Friday. Highs will only get into the mid-50s.

Friday night will be quite chilly, but the rain ends. 40s in SB and 30s in the valleys

The weekend starting Saturday clear, but crisp with cool temps, climbing to around 60 as a high.

Sunday warming some and will be dry. This will be the first weekend rain free in a while.

Monday an inside slider, that will do nothing more than create some winds.

Tuesday high pressure builds in, and we warm up. Wednesday warming and offshore winds. Highs in the valleys will near 80 degrees and 70s coastal.

Enjoy the weaker and cold system for 48 hours, then we turn back into spring. Don’t worry about this rain causing problems, it will be like a drizzle compared to what we have seen.
