Good Monday morning,

Not a lot of excitement for us this week, but look at this massive low in the Pacific Northwest that will affect from the Bay Area north into Canada this week.

Traveling to the Pacific northwest will require an umbrella, rain coat and jacket, because it will be wet and chilly through Thursday.

For us we will just see cooler temps today, some sundowner north winds Tuesday and Wednesday evening. It was chilly last night with a cool 54 degree start at my house which is within a mile from the beach. Santa Ynez you need a jacket at 52 degrees right now.  That’s quite chilly for this time of the year. Highs today will be in the mid 70s. It looks like a warming trend will begin Tuesday through Friday. It looks like upper 70s to upper 80s in the valleys through Thursday.

Friday low pressure will create onshore flow, fog and some drizzle into the weekend as a cut off low moves over our area. This should move east Sunday and high pressure will build in again.

It is very Fall like out there with chilly nights then the days warm up into the 80s in the valleys.

I hope everyone had a great weekend, Enjoy your week.

Jack Martin
