Good Sunday morning,

Saturday was another tropical day as the upper low in Northern California pulled moisture and tropical clouds from the south. This created a cool day and a warm night staying in the low 70s into the night.

As far as the rain went, it was very spotty on Saturday. Some areas saw a trace others up to 1/4 of an inch.

The Dynamics was not great with this low to the north, because it did not drop into Southern California, limiting the cold air interaction with the subtropical moisture. Hence light rain only and tropical weather. The low is now moving to the East and the system will be out of our forecast area this afternoon. For today still some light mountain showers out there. Nothing crazy at maybe a 1/10 if an inch.

Some north winds tonight before clearing and a warm up begins on Labor Day.

The excitement is now over and time to get back to normal September weather.

I feel the next 2 months are the best in our neck of the woods  September and October are great months for warm evenings and great outdoor nights.

Have a great weekend, I will be laboring at work on Labor Day
