What a great start to the summer yesterday was, it was just beautiful with all the sunlight through to almost 9:00 PM
Today we have a weak low pressure system that is working its way through the central coast and out towards Nevada. That’s will do nothing more than keep us cool. Today along the coast will be in the upper 60s and slightly warmer by a few degrees in the valley, well below normal:

Some sundown winds are possible tonight.

Looks like more clouds on Friday with the marine layer hanging out a lot of the day.

The weekend pattern will not change much, highs in the upper 60s to 70 in Santa Barbara and in the valleys mid to upper 70s.
Looking into next week not a huge pattern change - morning low clouds, then clearing another cool week.
If you trust the extended models, it looks like we should start to warm up the first week in July and if the models are correct, July will be above normal temps for the entire month. We will see how that plays out but we’re due to break this pattern.
Have a great day
Jack Martin
