Good Monday morning,

Sunday actually turned out to be a fairly nice day. Where we all got to see a few peeks of the sunshine and warming temperatures into the low 70s, which was a real treat.

It looks like this week, we will continue to have cool foggy weather, but nothing like the rain and dismal weather we had last week.

Today as you look at the zoom satellite picture, you’ll see that low pressure system well to the east over in Nevada and has created lots of heavy rain and showers to the east of us. It’s now out of the picture for us at least. The East Coast and Midwest will be feeling that here in the next couple days.

As far as we go, this week, temperatures will remain below normal throughout the week with typical low clouds and fog along the coast, then actually clearing in the afternoons.

Inland valleys expect warm temperatures, more sunshine and highs in the upper 70s low 80s.

There’s still a cut off low that we’re going to need to deal with on Wednesday but it is not going to affect our weather. Maybe a few in Mountain showers, but it should not affect anything in our area.

As we get into later in the week, models really aren’t clear on what’s going to happen but they are hinting a warming pattern. How warm is it going to get? It’s really not clear at this point, but it looks like next week which could be getting into one of the hottest. We’ve had so far this year, at least in the valleys.

Bottom line, it is fair week, but fog and clouds to take up at minimum the first half of our days. Have a great week.
