It is just crazy how less than 200 miles the weather difference can be this extreme - Yesterday in Palm Springs Vs today in Santa Barbara.

Today, and moving through the rest of the week, the pattern really does not change. As we wake in Santa Barbara it is another wet start to the day with chilly temps at 54 degrees.

We will only see a high of 65 degrees and clearing in the afternoon.

Santa Ynez clearing earlier with a high of 79 degree , starting out with 54 degrees also.

The desert is just hot, and a chance of monsoonal moisture the rest of this week as the humidity climbs. It will be hot and humid and 100 to 103.

My pick is Santa Ynez at 80 degrees this weekend, maybe taking in a winery.

Enjoy the May Gray, because it is not going away anytime soon.
