Good Thursday morning,

Starting our day we are slightly warmer. 45 at my house, 37 in Santa Ynez.

Looking around the country, it is mostly sunny and cold weather. Except for the East coast where they have 1 more day of heavy rain and snow in the mountains

Flying back home, we are looking at dry weather for the foreseeable future.

There is no rain in the forecast until after Christmas, which is a far cry from last year when we had lots of rain during the holiday.

As much as we need more rain, it will be nice to have the sun 🌞.

For the short term, it is pretty easy. Temps will rise a few degrees today and we might even hit 60 degrees. Tonight is another chilly one.

Friday we are looking at some offshore Santa Ana winds, these will be mild and only warm us slightly to almost normal temps for this time of year. Still cold in Southern California.

The weekend is looking pleasant with the sun and cool weather.

Next week, models are struggling with the forecast, but it goes from dry to a Santa Ana event. No rain on site until after Christmas.

Beyond it is a crap shoot, but possibly something on the 26th, but don’t bet the farm.

Enjoy the nice winter weather in California where the snow is 3 hours away and beach down the street.

Enjoy your Thursday 10 days till Christmas
