Good Saturday morning,

Rain is arriving, it has started falling in SLO and is near Santa Maria. It looks like light rain will work its way down to LA and through Santa Barbara. This is pre-frontal rain which will be on the lighter side throughout the day.

The heavier rain arrives from north to south. Heavy rain starts in SLO this afternoon and goes on till midnight. In Santa Barbara heavy rain arrives early evening and will fall into Sunday morning.

Sunday will also be a very wet day with numerous showers throughout the day and into Monday. Monday the rain will move out.

How much rain are we looking at? well, it should be the best storm of the season to date.

1 to 2 inches in coastal areas and 2 to 6 inches in the mountains. It will also become very windy in the mountains with 50 to 60-mile-an-hour winds. The snow level is quite high at 6000 feet, so no snow at the local levels until Sunday night when it drops to 3500 feet.

At resort levels, they are loving the snow and lots of it. If you are a skier or boarder you will be extremely happy.

Enjoy a great wet weekend!

Thank you for your prompt response. I am so grateful for what you did. All through the following rain storms I was thanking you. This is what, in my mind, is an incredible business response. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
