Good Friday Morning

Good gloomy Friday,

It is a damp start to the day, as the fog has created some areas with drizzle. Everywhere is cloudy and damp this morning, but I can’t define this as rain.

It is a heavy marine layer. Very typical of this time of year. As I mentioned yesterday, we are entering our next season. Sometimes defined as May-Gray, June-Gloom, and Pea soup. Since we are still in May for 12 more days, we will call it May-Gray.

Today will be cool, damp, and foggy along the coast. Little to no clearing today. high of 55

In the valleys, the fog has made it there also. 4000 feet thick today. keeping them in the low 70s

Some weak offshore winds this afternoon will do little to clear us up along the coast, but valleys will clear in the afternoon.

Saturday is a repeat of today, but it looks like afternoon clearing for all with a high of 60.

Sunday is another damp day with cooler temps. high of 65.

Next week a few days of warming, then back to typical early summer weather in the low 70s.

I think there is a saying in San Francisco, that the coldest winter is the summer “due to the fog“.

Enjoy the cool damp weather, it is not like you have a choice.

I guess you actually do. You can see Michelle and Mark in Palm springs it will be the 90s.

Get out Monday because it will be over 100 degrees 😊

Traffic will be a bear, as there will be more than one sun lover heading that way
