Good Wednesday morning,

The big news of the day is the rain will happen.

Long-range models are always hard this time of year, but short-range models are in and they all agree we will see spring showers with rain Thursday afternoon into Friday morning.

This is thanks to a rainy Pacific Northwest and low pressure sagging into California.

You can see the storm system spinning and sagging towards us  https://zoom.earth/

What does this all mean for us? Other than we will have spring rain …

Today onshore flow will increase with cooler weather.

Thursday the marine layer deepens, and rain will work its way into the central coast.

Rain will start Thursday afternoon in SLO and work its way south arriving in our areas later Thursday night.

How much rain? SLO 1/4-to-1/2-inch, Santa Barbara 1/10 to 1/4 of an inch.

Friday it goes away, and we are in for more wind. Both Friday night and Saturday more sundowner winds for SB.

Sunday, we start a big warm-up into next week. Temps will be on the rise Sunday into mid-week with the 80s and some 90s in LA.

Love spring, wind, rain, and heatwave. Nothing in the middle for California.

Turn off the sprinklers for 2 days this is likely the last rain for awhile.

Thank you for your prompt response. I am so grateful for what you did. All through the following rain storms I was thanking you. This is what, in my mind, is an incredible business response. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
