Good Wednesday morning,
A change in the weather is going to occur starting today. Rain is not in the picture anytime soon.
The hoped that March would bring us a March Miracle but it is not looking good as we are approaching the middle of the month.
Cooler weather will start as low pressure and an inside slider will arrive on Thursday. This will do nothing more than cool us down and create wind. The change is cooler weather with wind Thursday from the Northwest after the dry front washes through.
Friday Northwest winds turn to Northeast winds and another Santa Ana event arrives. Mountain winds will be 70 miles an hour. Ventura south 25 to 35 miles an hour. Santa Barbara winds will be Thursday afternoon and evening, with no wind beyond.
The weekend we start a warmup and highs will be back in the low 70s. A great weekend and we start daylight savings at 3 am on Sunday.
Remember Spring ahead, so you will lose an hour of sleep, but daylight will be 1 hour later. We will stay light Sunday night until 7:30 pm.
On March 16th we hit the pinnacle of 12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of darkness. Spring is approaching and longer days.

The sad part is our chance for rain is diminishing as we get into April. sadly, it is looking like another year with 50% of normal rainfall.
Unfortunately, we have no control over that. Thank goodness for diesel.
Have a nice sunny day, it could be worse.
