Good Friday morning,
What a fantastic day Thursday was in Santa Barbara. It is so nice to feel the sun warming the skin.
If you feel the same, you will like this forecast
Today we have a dry inside slider rolling down the interior with cold air. This means inland temps will remain normal, but coastal areas and valleys will be above normal.
Highs today in the upper 60s. Just look at that big whip pumping the storms up, over, and down the interior.
Tonight and Saturday another strong Santa Ana wind event. Wind gusts could be as high as 80 miles an hour on some mountain tops near LA, normal wind-prone areas Ventura to LA will see 40 to 60 mile an hour winds tonight and Saturday.
This will compress the air and warm it, as most Santa Ana events do. Highs Saturday and Sunday will be in the low to mid-70s with lots of sunshine.
Here is God’s country, Yes, I mean Santa Barbara, Goleta, and Montecito. It will be just a perfect weekend with little to no wind. The winds to the south will only warm us up here.
I suggest if you live to the south, pack your bag for the weekend and come to Santa Barbara. It will be worth the drive.
Next week, another week with no rain in the forecast. Monday we should switch back to onshore flow with some fog and cooler temps. These conditions will prevail through the week with the 60s most of the week.
If you are lucky enough to live locally, you do not need to go anywhere, but outdoors.
I promise you will enjoy this weekend in Santa Barbara!

Okay techno-jack!! I will love to give y’alls a double thumbs up, or at least 10 gold stars. I was way impressed with Tony and his young sidekick. Maybe Thomas? They just changed the whole complexion of what we’re going to do. Making it work too! I’ve decided that the key to your enormous business success is your skill in hiring and picking business partners. In my experience, I can think of Sharon, Jeannie, Ricky, Doug, Kirk, Tony, Jorge, Octavio. And I haven’t even seen Beatriz or Ana yet. You continue to hit those line drives, even if your run to 1st base has slowed a bit. So fun for me to see!!Joe Sevilla
