Good Tuesday morning,

What a great storm that was for our area. Rain totals were fantastic with San Marcos pass as the big winner with 4.57 inches. Everyone fell in line below that with 1 to 3 inches.

Here are the totals for the county:

Today, a complete reversal of Monday. High pressure is building in, and temps will begin to warm each day through Thursday where some areas will record 90s. This is all thanks to offshore winds increasing the temps each day through Thursday. 70s today then upper 70s or low 80s on Wednesday.

The darkness is still upon us, as days are getting shorter. When the sun does rise, the views of the islands will give us HD perfection. I just love the day after a rain as it makes our area picture perfect.

As we get into the weekend, cooling and on shore flow returns, but no rain in sight, unless you are in Nor Cal. Next week looks to remain dry for at least the first half of the week.

For you snow lovers, check out Mammoth mountain with 2 to 3 feet of snow on the mountain and 12 to 15 inches in town.

Have a great day, the sun is back!
