Good Tuesday morning,

A chilly start to the day, much cooler than Monday, especially in the valleys. It was 36 degrees in Santa Ynez.

Today will be warmer as the sun and mild offshore winds will warm us up, overall a nice day high around 70s.

Wednesday, a weak low-pressure system washes out over Monterey. Nothing more than some clouds for us.

Thursday, we should start with some fog, with continued warming. This will be the warmest in the next 7 days in the mid-70s.

Then to Friday and throughout the weekend, there will be a series of systems thrown our way from a big system in the Gulf of Alaska. The first on Friday will make it to SLO and no affect here.

Saturday another impulse that should also wash out for us, keeping us dry.

Now there is Sunday and Monday.

This is interesting because it does look like we will see the first significant rain of the season.

The exact timing is still not clear, and rain totals are only primary, but at this point, 2 inches on the central coast and 1 inch here is a good rain event.

As always, stay tuned for update.
