Good Thursday morning,

Today the weather is all about the fire. The noozhawk has some incredible photos of what is going on.

The good news is our winds will start to improve starting today in the fire area. Early next week we should see fog.

Here is the forecast in that area:

The good news is the winds now shift away from the fire area here, but the bad news is the winds area is now south in Ventura to LA.

This will bring a high fire alert in those areas with winds increasing through Saturday.

For us in Santa Barbara, where we only have the smell of smoke and a mess on the 154.

We will see warm October weather through the weekend with highs in the low to mid 80s with lows in the 60s.

On the flip side the Santa Ynez valley, we will see lows in the 40s, chilly at night then 40+ degrees warmer during the day.

Sunday afternoon, cooler air will move in and cool it down. The bad news is north winds will be back on Monday.

The only good part is this will be with fog.

Have a nice day,

Jack Martin
