Good Wednesday morning,

We will start the day with the return to fog and cooler temps.

Overall, today will be a nice day with some morning fog, then mid to high clouds floating over us throughout the day. It will make for a pretty sunset. Temps will cool a few degrees, remaining in the low 70s.

Thursday, colder air will move south, and some energy will branch off from the low pressure system to the north. This will create some morning drizzle in areas, then cooler temps, and highs in the upper 60s.

Thursday night, the low begins to move in. Some rain over night and into Friday, but it is not looking like much. 1/10 to 1/4 of an inch. In our area, more like 1/10th, enough to get the streets damp and remind us that our dry spell is coming to a close.

The weekend is looking good, warmer temps, high pressure and mild offshore winds spell a great weekend. Sunday will be the best day.

Next week we go back to cooler weather with a dry inside slider moving in.

There’s a word I have not used in some time. Inside sliders are systems that go over land and are cooler lows that are dry, moisture starved and generally only produce some wind.

This week has proven to be more exciting weather wise; we will see what our future brings.

Enjoy the change, and the nice weekend ahead.

As always, I will keep you up to date.

Thank you! The new downspouts have completely stopped the drumming of drips when it rains!
