Good Thursday morning,

What a crazy day Wednesday, with folks commuting from Lompoc and the Santa Ynez valley.

101 was closed in both directions with only 154 as a passage, then another accident on the 154 closed that until 1:15 pm. Needless to say a lot of people turned around and went home , with a day off, because they could not get to Santa Barbara.

The fires are still burning in Northern California, and we are seeing some of the haze from there. This is what has been causing our red sunsets the last 3 nights.

From the weather front, warm above normal August weather is on tap through the weekend. Santa Barbara will see highs in the mid 80s and lows around 65.

The Santa Ynez valley will see low 90s for daytime highs and low 60s for nighttime lows.

Looking towards the south, down in the Baja. There is another tropical storm brewing that will affect Cabo this weekend . Looks like lots of rain, but manageable winds . This is creating a super green hill for them with October being the month to visit.

Too Hot, rainy and humid is the month of September.

Enjoy the rest of the work week and your weekend.

See you at Zoofari Saturday night.
