Good Thursday morning,

The sundowner winds last night stayed to the west and were not a big deal for SB.

This morning is a different story for our friends to the south. There are already 60 to 70 mile an hour wind gusts in the mountains of Ventura to Santa Monica. Wind gust will max out later in the afternoon, but might even hit the 80 mile an hour mark in some mountains.

Temps today will be all over the board. There is a cold low over Utah, so highs in some areas with no wind will be a cool 60 degrees.

Valleys with wind will see low 70s due to compressed air into these locations.

Friday, we are calm, but Friday night is the next inside slider. This will start with winds in the Gaviota, Refugio and Montecito hills area Friday night.

Then turn south on Saturday.

Saturday another strong Santa Ana event in Ventura and south.

Winds will blow similar to today.

Sunday off shore winds and a good day.

Next week, the models are still struggling a bit. They seem to be flip flopping.

At this point it looks like dry Monday and Tuesday, then the chance of a moderate storm Wednesday.

The other is calling for another inside slider. Time will give us a solution.

In the meantime, it is all about the winds. Ventura, you know what I am talking about.

Have a great day.
