Good Wednesday morning,

Another week flying by. Sorry we missed the forecast for Tuesday, but work came first.

 ….It was a fantastic day.....

Today some changes as low pressure and another dry inside slider rolls down the coast. Yes another low pressure system with wind and no rain.

Temps today will be 5 to 10 degrees cooler than yesterday, but still 3 to 5 degrees warmer than normal for this time of year, low 70s.

Wind this afternoon and evening will affect northwest faces in Santa Barbara. This will allow moderate winds of 40 miles an hour with some gust to 50 miles an hour at my house. “George, here we go again “.

Later tonight the winds subside in SB and move to Ventura. Expect a strong Santa Ana event 9 pm tonight to 3 pm tomorrow with 60 mile an hour wind gusts. Also creating another off shore event. This is a cold Santa Ana event, so off shore winds will only create a few degrees of warming where off shore winds are felt, everyone else will be cooler.

Rounding the corner into Friday. Fair over all with no excitement.

The weekend, another Santa Ana event sets up for Saturday and no rain will fall for the rest of February. This will make it tied for the 3rd time since 1942.

With  no rain in the month of February.

Monday starts March, and the models are now beginning to back off on the rain chances.

It looks now that our best chance will be Wednesday into Thursday of next week. We are not looking good at the start of March for rain.

Hang in there, it is a longer month.

The rest of the U.S. is fairly calm compared to last week. You can see it on the zoom earth satellite.

Enjoy your Wednesday, get ready for more wind.
