Good Thursday morning,

It has been an extremely busy start to the New Year, the past few days have flown by.

The weather has been the only predictable item in the daily activities.

It is January the 7th, but you would never know it with our current weather pattern.

It has been sunny and warm with highs in the upper 60s and low 70s. This tread will continue until next week!!!

No, next week will not bring us rain, but it will likely bring us 80s in some areas by Wednesday.

As far as rain goes, we are looking at dry weather through the 21st of January at this point.

How Crazy is that?!

All storm systems are staying to the north. The best we will see is some high clouds and wind after low pressure system rolls though.

Today expect highs in the upper 60s to 70 degrees with some high clouds.

Friday the inside slider rolls though and brings some afternoon and evening winds to Santa Barbara.

The weekend also looks to be nice with Saturday slightly cooler than Sunday, and the warm up begins.

Next week, high pressure and off shore winds build in, as we warm up each day.

Wednesday should be the warmest day of the next week with some 80s in areas due to a strong Santa Ana event.

Beyond that, all models are not calling for any rain through the 21st of January.

As we all feel, we need a tropical vacation, you will get one here next week. Typically, we have to travel by air to get 80s this time of year.

The good news is lake Cachuma is at 73%.

No worries about water yet!!!!

Enjoy the summer like weather, and my goodness don’t watch the news.

Enjoy the great southern California weather.
