Good Thursday morning,

Happy New Year’s Eve day.

If you faced to the north, you heard the inside slider moving through last night. The winds came up around 10 am and blew though the night.

Today the low will pass to the south and set up a Santa Ana wind event for Ventura to LA.

Most of us will be tucked into our homes to celebrate the 2021, so you will only hear the wind south of SB.

New Year’s Day is setting up for a great day with warm temps due to Santa Ana conditions. Highs will be in the upper 60s and maybe a few 70s.

Saturday and Sunday will be nice and non eventful. Clouds will begin to roll in Sunday.

Some changes to the extended forecast now.

The national weather service models are changing their tune for Monday and Tuesday, now calling for rain to develop.

With more chances throughout the week.

We will watch this as we move into the weekend, but next week looks to be wet at times.

Enjoy your New Year’s Eve with family.

Maybe a Facebook portal call. (Pretty cool if you don’t have one.)

Also, check out Netflix, I started watching Queens Gambit. “Great series”. You just need to get set up with episode 1, so hang in there, it gets great.

Happy 2021, it is going to be a better year.

Roaring 20s return!
