2 days before the funky Christmas.....

No excitement in the air for Christmas, but our weather has some.

Take a look at the satellite, there are a number of systems attempting to affect our weather and cause rain.

Today and tonight it is all about the off shore winds in Ventura to LA. This will create wind and fire danger once again.

Thursday, a low to the south tries to sneak under the high. It will not prevail, maybe a few sprinkles.

Christmas Day, fantastic.....a beach day to FaceTime family on the East coast with their snow storms.

Christmas night into Saturday, it does look like we might see a little rain from the next system.

1/4 in SLO and less in Santa Ynez and SB. Maybe .15, enough to get the streets wet and a tease for Sunday night. This system dies out at Ventura.

Sunday transition day, then a bigger system moves in Sunday night into monday early for most of us.

This one is looking pretty good and we will see the first REAL rain of the season. .33 to .75 coastal and .50 to 2 inches in the mountains. Snow level at 5000 feet.

Enjoy, your Holiday and of course I will be part of your morning routine.
