Good Tuesday morning,

Our daylight will now be 1 to 2 minutes longer each day until June 21st.

Here is something fun and interesting that Aaron brought to my attention....

Did you know that during summer and winter equinox, it is easier to balance an egg on its edge.

Thanks Aaron!

Did you go outside last night to view the Christmas star.

It is every 800 years that Jupiter and Saturn passes each other in there orbits creating a bright light.

If you missed it, here it is. (Thanks Adam)

Now the fun stuff is over, let’s see how our weather is shaping up for the rest of the week....

What a day it was on Monday. High of 81 degrees for Santa Barbara.....just fantastic.

There is not much of a change out there from yesterday. Here is the update.

Today we have an inside slider, rolling down the coast. The only thing we will feel is a cooler day by 10 to 15 degrees.

Wednesday, the next Santa Ana wind event. We will see warming 3 to 5 degrees and higher fire danger again Ventura and south.

Thursday, a weak low sneaks under the high, bringing a sight chance of rain. Really nothing.

Christmas day, just perfect with high pressure warming us into the upper 60s and low 70s.

Saturday, another low pressure system. This will get a little closer to us. Rain will likely fall in SLO and northern SB county.

Rain fall will be 1/10 to 1/4 of an inch at best.

Sunday, transition day between storms.

Monday morning, the real rain arrives. It looks like around dawn, we will see the rain start. We will have a 6 hour period and around ½ to 1 inch of wet stuff.

This is long awaited and we will look forward to seeing more then wet streets and see water flowing.

Enjoy!

Thank you for your great job on the gutter. Now, if it would only rain!
