Good Monday morning,

Well it is here, the heatwave will arrive today and last through the week: https://www.weather.gov/lox/

This will give us high fire danger, because of the dry conditions. The only good news is the winds will not be that bad .

Today the heat is really going to be felt to the north.

Solvang and SLO are going to be close to 100 degrees. Even normally chilly Pismo beach is going to hit 90.

For us, 80s and 90s with off shore winds and lots of sunshine.

The forecast for the rest of the week is easy. Hot with records that will be broken.

It still looks like the hottest day will be Wednesday, but there is no break between Tuesday through Friday.

Highs will be in the 90s to low 100s for all. It is going to be another Hot week.

The weekend looks to give us a slight cool down, but temps will be still above normal.

Bottom line, it will be a hot week.

Oh I almost forgot, happy Columbus day, who gets this day off ???
