Good Tuesday morning,

If you are waking in Santa Barbara, you see quite a bit of fog. The fog, however, is 500 to 800 feet thick today so a faster burn off is likely.

If your in the valleys, get ready for very hot temps with upper 90s for you over the next 4 days:

In Santa Barbara a warm up is happening, but not as much due to the fog. Low 80s for us today.

Tonight, however, some light sundowner winds will make the coast clear on Wednesday morning.

Wednesday will be the day Santa Barbara really feels the warm up. No fog, just sunny with highs in the upper 80s and some low 90s.

Wednesday will be the hottest day of the week, with valleys getting into triple digits.

Thursday looks to be almost the same as Wednesday, hot dry conditions for all.

Moving into the weekend. High pressure remains with above normal temps through Saturday.

Sunday looks like we will cool slightly and bring the marine layer back. Temps will be at normal for this time of year.

Along the coast, we have one more day before the heat takes over. Valleys, it is today.

Thank you for coming up to do the demo for the Career Fair at Los Prietos. All the boys were fascinated by the chance to see how sheet metal is formed, and to do some of it themselves. A hands-on demo is always the most effective in getting the boys involved. We really appreciate your arranging the demo, especially since you had already put so much energy into the talk and demo you did for the Construction Technology class. The teaching and Probation staff were all impressed by how involved the boys were in your demo.
