Good Friday morning,
The weather is all about the fires these days. It is pretty crazy to look at these satellite pictures to see all the fires burning on Nor Cal and Oregon.

This one shows how the smoke is blanketing all of the west coast.
Stepping a side from the fires. There is dense fog along the coast this morning. It is like pea soup out there this morning.
Gray low with gray from smoke high, is going to take typical day of fog to sunshine into fog with smoke. This will keep the skies hazy all day.
High pressure is dominating the weather with low pressure east and west pumping the smoke north to south. This will continue through at least Saturday.

Nights have been cool and days the same. Day time highs have been knocked down 5 to 7 degrees, because of the smoke.
The weekend weather was to be generally warmer with temps slightly above normal, but the smoke is changing that.
Hopefully Sunday will start to improve the smoke in our areas. Highs this weekend will be right around 80 degrees and lows in the upper 50s at night along the coast.
In the valleys, days are warmer in the mid 80s, but nights are cooler in the low 50s.
Monday we are looking at a warm up, where temps will climb by 6 to 8 degrees and last through Tuesday.
Wednesday, another cool down as a system to the north rolls through the pacific northwest and into California. The good news is this will create rain in Oregon Monday night into Tuesday.
That will hopefully start to knock down this mess.
In the East, look at the storms lined up in the Atlantic. https://wwhttps://www.nhc.noaa.gov/w.nhc.noaa.gov/
Crazy!!!!
To top all this off, it is the 19th Anniversary of 9/11. Sorry for the Gloomy forecast, but lets go out and make it a better day.
I will try, here are a few short funny videos. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bk6P0QX1pdE&feature=youtu.be
