Good Wednesday morning,

Yes, it is easy to report the weather. It will just be another hot day.

More records were broken yesterday. Santa Barbara hit 98 degrees.....

Today will be a carbon copy of Tuesday with the exception of a Eddie that has formed near Catalina.

This is providing them a break from the heat.

The hot sun is even heating the ocean with Santa Barbara at 68 degrees and Hendry’s beach at 66 degrees.

The warmest of the year.

Speaking of the Ocean, if you look well to the South Hurricane Genevieve is going to Brush the Cabo coast starting this afternoon.

The strongest winds are 100 to 120 miles an hour, but the good news is the areas on land will see half of that, since the heart of the storm will stay off Shore.

How will this affect our weather, this is still unclear. Surf, will create a South swell likely to start on Sunday. Rain, we are not Sure at this point.

I do have some good new on the heat.

It looks like the central coast will get a break on Thursday with onshore flow allowing the temps to retreat 8 to 10 degrees.

Here at home we will get 3 to 4 degrees cooling, but that’s not a lot. It will be slightly cooler though the weekend, but still 80s and 90s everywhere.

Last night you could see the smoke filled skies to the north from a fire up in Salinas That should not affect us much here, but the central coast is seeing the smoke.

There you have it, another hot day.

If you have the luxury the best spot is on the beach.

Have a great day.
