Very interesting weather out there right now.

There is a cut off low that started from the south and is now drifting over the central coast.

This does not pack a lot of moisture, but cooler days and chances of thunder storms are possible over night.

Rain is likely over north county of SLO.

Today we will see typical low clouds, but the base is higher than typical. All valleys and coastal areas will start out with fog.

Highs in the valleys will be 10 to 20 degrees cooler, coastal just a few.

Clearing will come in the afternoon, but again some beach areas might not see any.

Tonight and Saturday the rain chances in SLO county start up.

If your heading to the lake tonight expect much cooler temps and some rain.

It will not be a typical lake weekend.

Sunday will be uneventful with typical weather for this time of the year.

Next week is also interesting, because it looks like another low will start its way from the south and come up the coast.

Again not a lot of rain with this, but different from anything we typically see.

Normally it is systems from the north that we get the tail end of. It looks like June will start off with typical fog and low clouds in the morning.

Have a great weekend, enjoy the new state street......
