Good Wednesday morning,

Tuesday we hit 81 degrees in Santa Barbara and today it is going to be another great day.

Highs today will be close to the same. Today will be your last day to take advantage of the warmer temps and sunshine.

Thursday a weak low drops South and this will bring back our onshore flow and the marine layer.

Overnight and into Friday the rain chances begin. Looking like some drizzle is likely with light rain.

Rain totals will be in the light side with 1/10 coastal to 1/3 of an inch in the mountains.

Saturday we will transition back into weak high pressure, weather will improve as the day goes on.

Sunday will be a nice day, as the weak high pressure system warms us up for the day.

Sunday night into Monday, another weak system arrives. This will bring us some spring rain overnight into Monday.

This is another weak system, so ¼ inch or less is the idea for now.

Tuesday we transition into warmer weather as high pressure builds in….

Cachuma is now at 80%, the highest level since 2012.

On the virus.

I have decided to give us all the facts, so we have a balanced understanding.

Santa Barbara county

313 cases as of today

86 of them are at Lompoc Jail

-------

227 total in SB county (without the jail)

124 fully recovered

-----

103 active cases

40 in the hospital with All (including the Jail)

15 in intensive care (with Jail included)

2 deaths

Not to take it lightly, because if you look at the infection rate at the Jail with 86, this virus is very contagious.

Distancing is working, so keep up the good work.

I wish the press could do it this way. If they won’t,  I will 😊

Thank you! The new downspouts have completely stopped the drumming of drips when it rains!
